At Transcendent Counseling, I believe in the transformative power of quality therapy. I offer a judgment-free space where you can feel safe to explore and work through any challenges you may be facing. I have worked with adults 18 to 70 plus years of age who have experienced anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues and addiction. What you will come to understand in therapy is that what you are experiencing and feeling is what millions of other people are experiencing and feeling. You are not alone.

Hello! I am Kathy Sexton and I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona for 17 years. I bring a lot of life experience to my therapy. I would describe myself as down to earth, honest and empathetic. Being a therapist fulfills my innate desire to help others who are in crisis become empowered and healed.
SERVICES OFFERED
I offer in-person and virtual counseling (Zoom). I use evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but do not ascribe to one particular type of therapy. I use a combination of evidence-based therapies and tailor the treatment to meet my client's needs. I enjoy working with adults from diverse backgrounds.
